Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information i7n collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.

Effective date: April 19, 2026. Last updated: April 19, 2026.

Who we are

i7n is an accessibility audit platform operated by i7n LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("i7n," "we," "our," or "us"). We help teams find and fix accessibility barriers on their websites and applications.

This policy applies to our marketing site at www.i7napp.com, our application at app.i7napp.com, and any related services we provide.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you request early access, contact us, or create an account, we collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company or organization name (optional)
  • Any message or details you include in the request
  • Account credentials if you sign in to the application

Information we collect when you use the platform

When you run an audit, we process:

  • The URL or domain you ask us to scan
  • Login credentials you provide for authenticated scans (stored encrypted, used only for the scan, and deleted when you request)
  • The pages, code, and content our crawler retrieves from the sites you audit
  • The findings, scores, and reports the platform generates

Information we collect automatically

  • Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to operate the service and investigate abuse
  • Error reports from the application (submitted to our error tracking provider) to diagnose bugs

We do not run third-party advertising or marketing trackers on this site. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Run audits, generate reports, and deliver the service you asked for
  • Respond to early access requests, support questions, and other messages you send us
  • Send service emails about your account, audits, and notifications you opted into
  • Monitor performance, investigate errors, and improve the platform
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We may use aggregated or de-identified data (for example, counts of common accessibility issues across all customers) to improve our detection, write benchmarks, or share industry insights. Aggregated data cannot be used to identify you.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to operate the platform. As of this policy's effective date, those include:

  • DigitalOcean (hosting and infrastructure for app.i7napp.com)
  • Netlify (hosting for the marketing site and handling of the early access form submissions)
  • Microsoft (Microsoft Graph for sending account and notification emails)
  • Anthropic (the AI quality assessment layer of the audit pipeline; audit findings and scanned content are sent for analysis and are not used by Anthropic to train their models)
  • Sentry (error reporting and diagnostics)
  • Stripe (payment processing, once billing is enabled)

Each provider is bound by their own data processing terms. We share only the data each provider needs to do its job.

We may also disclose information if required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of i7n, our customers, or the public.

If i7n is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, your information may transfer to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before that happens.

How long we keep it

  • Account and contact information: for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after closure for our records.
  • Audit results and reports: for the life of your account. You can delete individual audits at any time.
  • Login credentials used for authenticated scans: encrypted in our database and deleted when you remove them from your account.
  • Server logs and error reports: typically 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Early access form submissions: kept while we are evaluating your request and for our records afterward.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to stop sending marketing emails at any time by replying to any message or using the unsubscribe link.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively. These include the right to know what we collect, the right to deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@i7napp.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not retaliate against you for exercising any right under this policy.

Cookies and tracking

The marketing site uses a small number of essential cookies to remember basic session state. The application uses cookies to keep you signed in.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that build profiles of you. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and prefer privacy-respecting tools that do not require a cookie banner.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS everywhere), encrypted storage of sensitive fields, access controls, and activity logging.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Children

i7n is a business-to-business service. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
