Plain-language explanations

Most compliance tools check boxes.
They don't help you fix the barriers.

Most accessibility scanners were built for auditors, not builders. They report errors without context, priority, or a clear path to resolution.

Hundreds of raw errors

A wall of WCAG criterion numbers with no explanation of what they mean for real users, or which ones actually matter.

No user context

You can't tell if an issue blocks someone completely or is a minor annoyance. Impact on disabled users isn't measured, just enumerated.

Fixes get undone

Without CI integration or team education, the same issues reappear in every deploy. Accessibility debt compounds silently.

Audit results you can
actually use

AI-explained findings

Other tools say "Error: missing alt text." i7n says: "This image has no description. Screen reader users will hear nothing about it, including the call to action."

Ranked by real impact

Findings are ranked by how badly each issue affects real people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or assistive motor tools. The worst barriers surface first.

CI / pipeline integration

Audit on every pull request. Block merges that introduce new accessibility regressions. Ship the fix, not the issue. Supports GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Vercel.

Built with the community

Test cases and severity rankings are informed by disabled users, not just spec documents. The people most affected by these issues shaped what we look for.

ADA compliance reports

Generate audit reports formatted for legal review, procurement requirements, or voluntary accessibility conformance reports (VPATs). Download-ready PDF and DOCX.

Track progress over time

See how your accessibility score moves across deploys, pages, and teams. Identify regressions before they ship. Celebrate real progress with stakeholders.

How it works in three steps.

Paste a URL or connect a repo. Read the findings. Ship the fix.

1

Connect

Paste a URL for an instant scan, or connect your repo for continuous auditing on every deploy. No agent installation required.

2

i7n scans your site against all applicable WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 criteria, ADA requirements, and community-informed severity standards.

3

Fix

Clear, prioritized findings with plain-language explanations, code examples, and links to implementation guidance your team can act on today.

We use AI for what code can't catch

Most tools stop at pattern matching. We layer AI on top to handle the criteria where automated rules miss the judgment calls.

Alt text quality, not just presence

Code can confirm an image has alt text. We use AI to read it and ask whether the alt actually describes the image, or whether it just says "image" or "photo."

Heading hierarchy that makes sense

Code can confirm an h1 is followed by an h2. We use AI to ask whether the heading structure tells a coherent story for screen reader users navigating section by section.

Form labels that actually describe

Code can confirm an input has a label. We use AI to ask whether "Submit" or "Click here" actually tells the user what they're submitting or where they're going.

That's how we cover all 50 WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria, not just the ones automated rules can hit on their own.

Every other tool told us we had 200 errors. i7n told us which three were actually stopping people from using our checkout flow.
